Mr Arjun Shankar is a highly respected general surgeon based in London. His practice extends across the abdomen, and his wealth of experience in both elective and emergency procedures allows him to provide a truly comprehensive service almost unique in the capital. As well as running the NHS Abdominal Sarcoma Service, where he is Lead Surgeon, Mr Shankar runs The Lister Hospital’s Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Unit.
He is also part of the Royal Free Hospital’s Abdominal Wall/Complex Hernia Unit. The biggest unit of its kind in the UK, it offers patients exceptional outcomes using the most advanced surgical techniques found anywhere in the world.
